Cornish Candles & Wax Melts

Our homemade Cornish candles and wax melts smell fabulous, bursting with natural essential oils and the finest British-made fragrances. They have a long burn time and a really good “throw” (how far the scent is dispersed in a room).

Safety Information for burning your candles.

All of our candles are supplied with a safety label on the containers underside to ensure customers are well informed on the correct use of our products.

In addition, we also offer some key advice when using candles.

• for all types of candles in containers, please ensure they are placed on a level, heat proof surface before lighting
• for the first burn, we recommend you burn your 15+ hour candle for 1-2 hours and your 20 + hour candle for 3-4 hours burn at a time to achieve an optimum burn and longevity.  Subsequent burns should be for the same time
• never leave a burning candle unattended or around children and pets
• ensure there is a liquid pool of wax covering the entire surface of the candle from edge to edge before the candle is extinguished
• to ensure your candle burns evenly and therefore lasts longer, always ensure the candle remains clean and dust free. Remove any additional debris from the wax space as this can act as a secondary wick which can cause the candle to burn quicker and hotter
• keep the wick trimmed to 6mm
• position your candle carefully. Before lighting your candle have a quick look and check nothing has dropped into the wax space such as a matchstick, insect or similar.
