Gardener’s Hand Scrub

Gardening hands take all sorts of punishment! Our Gardener’s Hand Scrub is formulated to gently remove dirt & stains, whilst soothing and moisturising dry hands. We make it with fine sea salt, mixed with a sprinkling of salt from Cornish waters. It’s all bound together with a blend of skin-nourishing oils and butters, including Shea butter. We’ve infused Calendula petals in oil, and added Arnica, Vitamin E, Aloe Vera and glycerine; all of which your skin will love. To gently lift the dirt, we use a blend of finely ground pumice and apricot stones, and a sprinkling of strawberry seeds. Our Gardener’s hand scrub is gently scented with a carefully formulated blend of essential oils, used for centuries for their soothing, healing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Available in a ‘Try Me’ 90g glass jar or 300g glass jar.

How to Use;

Wash hands and pat dry. Using a a cherry-sized scoopful of gardener’s hand scrub, massage it gently into your hands and wrists, concentrating on any dry or rough areas or areas with ground-in dirt. Leave the scrub on for 10 minutes for all the lovely oils to soak in and the other ingredients to work their magic, rinse off with warm water, then pat hands dry on a clean warm fluffy towel. Your hands will be cleansed, nourished and ready for tomorrow’s garden chores.

Key Ingredients in our Gardener’s Hand Scrub;

Sea Salt; We use both fine and coarse in different scrubs, to provide different degrees of scrubbiness.

Sea Salt from Cornish waters; Which has a beautifully soft, crumbly texture, and very gently scrubs the skin.

Sweet Almond Oil; This has a light texture, and is easily absorbed into the skin, leaving it soft and silky-smooth. Rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E.

Vitamin E Oil; The natural vitamin E we use is a powerful source of antioxidants, used extensively in skincare.

Lavender essential oil; Used for centuries for soothing, calming and healing.

Frankincense essential oil; Good for revitalising dry skin.

Arnica; Used by homeopaths to treat bruising, muscular strains, wounds and swelling

Aloe Vera Gel; This contains over 200 active components including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, polysaccharide, and fatty acids- no wonder it’s been used for centuries to soothe and treat a range of ailments, including burns, sunburn, abrasions, itching & inflammation.

Calendula infusion; To help repair damaged or inflamed skin.
