This handmade Shaving Soap with Shea Butter and Tea Tree creates a wonderfully rich, creamy lather for a 100% natural, smooth shave. We’ve added a drizzle of Aloe Vera to gently soothe dry or irritated skin, nourishing vitamin E oil and Shea Butter, a touch of white clay to gently draw out impurities and help the razor glide over the skin, and Tea Tree essential oil- used for centuries for it’s antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities. Gentle enough for sensitive skin.
We also sell this as part of our Gentleman’s Shaving Kit, paired with a traditional wooden shaving brush.Key ingredients ;
Coconut oil; A “dry” oil, we use a high proportion of this oil in the soap, to give excellent lathering properties. It also gives a hardness to the soap, so it doesn’t turn into a mushy mess when used.
Tea Tree essential oil; Tea tree has been used for centuries as a powerful immune system stimulant; it’s anti-septic, and helps to sort out viral, bacterial and fungal infections.
Aloe Vera; Used in the Mediterranean region for thousands of years, we’ve added this for its cooling and soothing properties.
Kaolin; White clay, mined in Cornwall, to help draw impurities and oil out of the skin; it also helps the razor to slide over the skin smoothly.
Shea Butter; Extracted from the nut of the Mangifolia trees which grow wild in the African savannah, this contains several fatty acids which are needed to retain skin moisture and elasticity.
Vitamin E; A powerful anti-oxidant that helps repair damaged cells; it also has healing properties and is an anti-inflammatory.
