Manuka, Honey and Orange Soap

Another star  in our family of expertly formulated soap bars, our Manuka, Honey and Orange Soap has been awarded “Editor’s Choice” in the coveted Beauty Shortlist Awards 2018…
We’ve used Cornish- grown Manuka leaves, Cornish honey, Cocoa Butter and energizing essential oils in this gentle, natural soap, which is one of our favourites.

The scent is a gentle waft of orange groves, with an undertone of warm, sensuous Patchouli.

Its creamy lather, feel-good scent and moisturising properties mean it’s equally good as a kitchen soap, garden soap or shower soap. Our Manuka, Honey and Orange Soap is a  lovely gentle soap to revitalise the skin and awaken the senses.

Key ingredients in our Manuka, Honey and Orange Soap;

Manuka leaves; Grown on the Tregothnan estate in Cornwall since the 1800s, Manuka is celebrated for it’s anti-bacterial properties. We gently infuse the leaves to extract their sweet, slightly spicy scent and natural therapeutic components, then add both the macerated leaves and the liquid to the soap mix.

Cornish honey; Our honey comes from local hives in the Fowey River Valley close to our workshop. Used for centuries for its natural antiseptic & antibacterial properties honey also acts as an emollient helping to seal moisture into the skin.

Cocoa butter; A wonderful moisturiser for dry or chapped skin.

Caster Oil; Acts as a emollient by attracting and holding moisture to the skin. It also helps to give this soap its extra-creamy lather.

Sweet Orange essential oil; With it’s uplifting, fresh sweet scent and slightly astringent properties, it’s great for perking up tired skin.

Patchouli essential oil; We’ve added just a hint of this warm, balancing oil, to add to the feel-good scent of this soap.

May Chang essential oil; We love the fresh, sweetly  floral scent, which reminds us of sultry Mediterranean evenings, when the citrus blossom releases it’s heady scent. 

Full ingredients;

Sodium olivate (Saponified olive oil), Aqua, Sodium cocoate (Saponified coconut oil), Sodium beeswaxate (Saponified beeswax), Citrus dulcis (Sweet orange) peel oil, Theobroma cacao (Cocoa ) butter, Ricinus communis (Caster) seed oil, Mel (Honey), Litsea cubeba (May chang) oil, Preservative (Phenoxyerthanol, Caprylyl glycol), Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) oil, Manuka (Leptospermum scorparium) leaf, Colour (A407 yellow iron oxide).
Naturally occurring in essential oils; Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol, Citronellol.
Free from palm oil, mineral oils, tallow, lanolin, artificial colours & fragrances.
Contains beeswax & honey.
Made in a workshop which handles nut oils.
