Our Gardener’s Gift Tin contains a selection of natural, handmade soap and skincare formulated to nourish, cleanse, soothe and protect gardening hands. All neatly packaged in a handy aluminium caddy which can be used to store seeds, string and other bits n bobs.<\/p>\n

What’s in our Gardener’s Gift Tin?<\/h3>\n

This Gift Tin contains one each of the following:<\/p>\n

Gardener\u2019s Soap:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A gently exfoliating soap packed with oodles of lovely ingredients. This natural, handmade soap gives hard-working gardening hands the TLC they need. It\u2019s made with a base of olive oil & coconut oil to give a rich, nourishing lather. We\u2019ve added a herbal infusion of St John\u2019s Wort (used for centuries for it\u2019s natural healing properties) and green clay to gently draw out in-ground muck & dirt, and Aloe Vera , Cornish Honey, Cocoa butter & Glycerine for their skin soothing properties. Scented with our own blend of soothing & antiseptic essential oils including Lavender, Tea Tree and Patchouli. 90g e bar.<\/p>\n

Key ingredients in our Gardener’s Soap:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

St John\u2019s Wort:\u00a0We infuse this, then add the leaves and liquid to capture all their natural goodness. Reputed to be anti-inflammatory and effective on sprains, burns and bruises.
\n<\/span><\/span>Aloe Vera: Used in the Mediterranean\u00a0 for thousands of years, we\u2019ve added this for its cooling and soothing properties.
\n<\/span><\/span>Cocoa Butter:\u00a0A wonderful \u00a0moisturiser to nourish dry, itchy or chapped skin.
\n<\/span><\/span>French green clay: We\u2019ve used this because of its gentle nature, high mineral content and absorbent properties, to help draw inground dirt out of the hands.
\n<\/span><\/span>Glycerine and Honey: Both humescants- that is, they help to seal moisture into the skin. Glycerine is a natural product of the soap-making process, and is removed from many commercial soaps. We add even more as it’s so good for the skin. Honey is often described as \u201cnature\u2019s first aid kit\u201d, as it’s naturally antiseptic and cleansing.
\n<\/span><\/span>Patchouli, Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils:\u00a0Used for their natural healing, soothing and antiseptic qualities. Combined, they give the soap a soothing, clean scent.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Gardener’s Hand Cream:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Its nourishing and moisturising but not heavy and greasy so it soaks in quickly and completely. \u00a0It\u2019s packed with TLC- We\u2019ve added a blend of Tagete, Lavender and Chamomile essential oils which have been used for centuries to soothe, calm and heal dry or irritated skin. Use little and often for maximum benefit. 60g jar.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span>Key Ingredients in our Gardener’s Hand Cream:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tagete essential oil: An antiseptic and antimicrobial oil, it has a healing effect on wounds and cuts, especially weeping wounds.
\n<\/span><\/span>English Lavender essential oil: Used widely for its anti-inflammatory, soothing and healing properties. We use a quality English- grown Lavender, with its richly herbal scent.
\n<\/span><\/span>Chamomile essential oil: Used extensively in skin care products because it has gentle anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties. It was highly regarded by the ancient Egyptians, who offered it to the Sun God, Ra.
\n<\/span><\/span>Aloe Vera: This contains over 200 active components including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, polysaccharide, and fatty acids- no wonder it\u2019s been used for centuries to soothe and \u00a0treat a range of ailments, including burns, sunburn, abrasions, itching and inflammation.
\n<\/span><\/span>Sea Buckthorn Oil (Organic):\u00a0A rich source of vitamins and minerals, especially in vitamins A, C and E. It’s been widely used in traditional medicines for eons.
\n<\/span><\/span>Shea Butter (Organic): Extracted from the nut of the Mangifolia trees which grow wild in the African Savannah, this contains several fatty acids which are needed to retain the skin’s moisture and elasticity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Calm Balm:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Our Calm Balm is a tin of soothing goodness, luxuriously made with 100% natural, plant-based ingredients. Multi-purpose, it can be used to soothe, calm and nourish dry or irritated skin. We’ve blended Calendula and Comfrey infusions, Arnica, Rose Geranium, and Chamomile essential oils to help soothe the skin. Our blend of nourishing base oils and butters are deeply moisturising and nourishing. Helps to restore skin elasticity and repair damaged tissue .This balm can be used on skin irritations like eczema, dry skin, insect bites and rashes; a little goes a long way… 15g e aluminium recyclable tin, with a handy slide lid.<\/p>\n

Key ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mango butter: Extracted from the kernel, this is a sweet-smelling soft white butter. Helps to restore and maintain the skin\u2019s moisture, and promotes cell regeneration.
\n<\/span><\/span>Lavender essential oil:\u00a0Used widely in skincare for its calming, relaxing and skin-soothing properties.
\n<\/span>Geranium essential oil: Used for centuries for it’s naturally healing and soothing properties, especially for dry, itchy and inflamed skin.
\nRoman Chamomile essential oil: Used extensively in skin care products, for it’s gentle anti-inflammatory, skin healing properties.
\n<\/span>Calendula infusion: To help repair damaged or inflamed skin.
\n<\/span><\/span>Arnica: Used traditionally for repairing damaged tissue and to reduce inflammation.
\n<\/span><\/span>Olive wax: A natural vegetable wax, this protects the skin from the elements, and helps to prevent further dryness and chapping.
\n<\/span><\/span>Marshmallow root oil: Used externally for its anti-inflammatory properties to treat skin irritations, burns, sores, ulcers and wounds. Also boosts cell immunity.<\/p>\n

A nail brush with attitude, perfect for cleaning hands and nails after a hard day’s gardening.\u00a0 A double-sided wooden nail brush with short stiff bristles on one side and longer softer bristles on the other.
