Key Ingredients in our Mucky Men’s Hand Soap: 

Ground olive stones and ground pumice: we have added a generous handful to really scrub away the in-ground muck and grime.

Green clay:  added to gently draw out dirt and impurities thus deep-cleaning those mucky hands.

Essential Oils: Tea Tree,  Peppermint, Rosemary and Lemon. They are naturally cleansing and antiseptic. They smell really fresh and zingy.

Aloe Vera, Cornish honey, Goat’s milk and Glycerine: these help our men’s hand soap to soothe and nourish dry, inflamed or irritated skin.

Shea Butter: Richly moisturising and nourishing. This is extracted from the nut of the Mangifolia trees which grow wild in the African Savannah.

It is rich yet easily absorbed and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. It has a light fragrance with a blend of essential oils carefully chosen for their natural soothing and healing properties. 60g e jar.

Key Ingredients in our Mucky Men’s Hand Cream:

Geranium, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang essential oils: Used for centuries for their naturally healing and soothing properties. They are especially beneficial to dry, itchy and inflamed skin.

Aloe Vera: This contains over 200 active components including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, polysaccharide, and fatty acids. No wonder it has been used for centuries to soothe and  treat a range of ailments including burns, sunburn, abrasions, itching and inflammation.

Sea Buckthorn Oil (Organic): A rich source of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamins A, C and E. It has been widely used in traditional medicines for generations.

Shea Butter (Organic): Extracted from the nut of the Mangifolia trees which grow wild in the African Savannah. It contains several fatty acids which are needed to retain the skin’s moisture and elasticity.

TLC Barrier Balm;

No Men’s Hand Care Gift Tin would be complete without a tin of our TLC Barrier Balm which is packed with moisturising and nourishing natural ingredients. It’s been carefully formulated to protect and nourish hard working hands. Use this as a protective barrier balm before using irritants or working outside, or as an intense moisturiser on very dry skin. This soft balm will melt on contact with warm skin. Once all the oils and butters have soaked into the skin, the olive wax acts as natural protection to prevent further moisture loss and prevent irritants from touching the skin. We make this with 100% plant-based ingredients.

We have added a carefully selected blend of essential oils chosen for their healing and soothing properties together with nourishing oils including Wheatgerm, Hempseed, Kukui, Vitamin E and Shea and Mango butters.  20g e Aluminium recyclable tin, with a handy slide-lid.

A natural insect-repelling solid shampoo bar formulated to help ward off unwanted “little friends” from your pooch.  This shampoo is made in the same traditional way as our lovely soaps but with even more coconut oil making a rich & creamy lather with a dense foam of tiny bubbles. We have added a blend of essential oils for their reputed insect-repelling qualities, including a dash of peppermint which is said to kill fleas & ticks by attacking their nervous system. We also use Neem oil (a natural healing & soothing oil from the Neem tree in India) valued as an insect repellent.  We have added Vitamin E & Shea Butter for a shiny coat & healthy skin and Aloe Vera soothes delicate skin. It has a fresh, clean scent heling to neutralise the smell of anything nasty your dog may have rolled in… !

Bug Off soap – an essential gift for dog walkers

Starting with our lovely soap base we add insect-repelling essential oils of Citronella, Lemongrass & Tea Tree. Citronella helps to keep mossies at bay and Lemongrass helps keep sandflies & horseflies away.  We use soothing Aloe Vera to help relieve the itch of insect bites, rashes, windburn and dry skin irritations.  Cocoa butter and Glycerine is added to nourish and moisturise itchy, dry skin. We recommend using this in the shower in the evening.  You really can smell the insect-repelling essential oils on your skin afterwards and, if you can smell them, so can the biting bugs! 90g e bar.

Dog paw barrier balm is packed with moisturising and nourishing ingredients to soften and protect your hound’s paw pads. Use as a protective barrier balm before walking outside. Hand and Body Lotion with Citronella has natural insect-repelling properties to help ward off biting critters that always seem to be about whilst out walking our pooches. We make it with a base which includes oodles of Cocoa and Shea butter.  It has a light, non-greasy formula making it easily absorbed into the skin. We have added essential oils of Citronella and Lemongrass because they have been used for centuries as insect repellents together with antiseptic Tea Tree. Coconut Oil: We have formulated a different base from our normal soap bars using a high percentage of coconut oil to give this soap a wonderfully rich, ready lather. It also means the soap will stay firm and solid in hot climates.

Olive Oil:  Used as the basis for the best soaps for  millennia, it contains antioxidants like Vitamins A and E that help repair and renew damaged skin.

Shea Butter: Extracted from the nut of the Mangifolia trees which grow wild in the African Savannah, this contains several fatty acids which help to retain the skin’s moisture and elasticity.

Sea Buckthorn Oil: A very rich source of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamins A, C and E. It also has an antibacterial action which inhibits the growth of staphylococci and other bacteria.

Lemongrass essential oil: We have added this to give a gently uplifting scent. 

Tea Tree essential oil: This has been used for centuries as a powerful immune system stimulant. It is antiseptic and helps to sort out viral, bacterial and fungal infections.

Aloe Vera:  This has been used in the Mediterranean region for thousands of years and we have added it for its calming and soothing properties.  

Kaolin: We use Cornish white clay mined locally to help draw impurities and oil out of the skin. It also helps the razor to slide over the skin smoothly.

A gently exfoliating soap packed with oodles of lovely ingredients. This natural, handmade soap gives hard-working gardening hands the TLC they need. It’s made with a base of olive oil & coconut oil to give a rich, nourishing lather. We’ve added a herbal infusion of St John’s Wort (used for centuries for it’s natural healing properties) and green clay to gently draw out in-ground muck & dirt, and Aloe Vera , Cornish Honey, Cocoa butter & Glycerine for their skin soothing properties. Scented with our own blend of soothing & antiseptic essential oils including Lavender, Tea Tree and Patchouli. 90g e bar.

Key ingredients in our Gardener’s Soap:

St John’s Wort: We infuse this, then add the leaves and liquid to capture all their natural goodness. Reputed to be anti-inflammatory and effective on sprains, burns and bruises.
Aloe Vera: Used in the Mediterranean  for thousands of years, we’ve added this for its cooling and soothing properties.
Cocoa Butter: A wonderful  moisturiser to nourish dry, itchy or chapped skin.
French green clay: We’ve used this because of its gentle nature, high mineral content and absorbent properties, to help draw inground dirt out of the hands.
Glycerine and Honey: Both humescants- that is, they help to seal moisture into the skin. Glycerine is a natural product of the soap-making process, and is removed from many commercial soaps. We add even more as it’s so good for the skin. Honey is often described as “nature’s first aid kit”, as it’s naturally antiseptic and cleansing.
Patchouli, Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils: Used for their natural healing, soothing and antiseptic qualities. Combined, they give the soap a soothing, clean scent.

Gardener’s Hand Cream: 

Its nourishing and moisturising but not heavy and greasy so it soaks in quickly and completely.  It’s packed with TLC- We’ve added a blend of Tagete, Lavender and Chamomile essential oils which have been used for centuries to soothe, calm and heal dry or irritated skin. Use little and often for maximum benefit. 60g jar.

How to use our men’s hand scrub;

Wash hands & pat dry. Massage a cherry-sized scoop of the scrub into your hands & wrists, concentrating on any dry, rough or especially dirty areas. Leave the scrub on for 5 minutes for all the lovely oils to soak in, then rinse off with warm water, and pat hands dry on a clean towel. Your hands will be cleansed, nourished and ready for tomorrow’s work.

Do not use on broken skin.

How to Use;

Wash hands and pat dry. Using a a cherry-sized scoopful of gardener’s hand scrub, massage it gently into your hands and wrists, concentrating on any dry or rough areas or areas with ground-in dirt. Leave the scrub on for 10 minutes for all the lovely oils to soak in and the other ingredients to work their magic, rinse off with warm water, then pat hands dry on a clean warm fluffy towel. Your hands will be cleansed, nourished and ready for tomorrow’s garden chores.

This balm is a soft solid at room temperature, so it will softly sculpt; it won’t hold a handlebar in place, but will help tame unruly Movember whiskers. Formulated for shorter, groomed beards and moustaches.
Particularly beneficial to men who spend time working / playing outdoors, as it helps protect the face against windburn and the elements.

Key Ingredients:

Mango Butter: Highly moisturising, this is reputed to have healing and regenerative properties.

Macadamia Nut Oil: One of the best regenerative oils available, it closely resembles sebum (the oil naturally produced by the skin to help protect it). Has been used to treat minor sunburn and skin irritations.

Avocado oil: This penetrates deep into the skin, and is a rich source of vitamins A and D.

Vitamin E: A powerful anti-oxidant, used widely in skincare to prevent wrinkles.

Olive Wax: A Vegan substitute for beeswax, this is a fraction of olive oil which is solid at room temperature. It isn’t absorbed as readily as the oils, so allows the balm to be softly sculpted.
